Strom Motorsports was founded in 2015 as a full service race shop. We supported clients and built custom race cars for many race series over the years including SRO, Creventic, NASA, BMW Club Racing, SCCA and WRL. Recently we have pivoted to focus on Motorsport Engineering and manufacturing of high quality parts.
We also have our German Auto Service shop called Strom German Auto at a separate location in Costa Mesa.
Engineering - Strom offers engineering services for CNC and 3D printed parts and can help you or your company design and manufacture parts needed for Motorsport purposes.
Consulting -We provide consulting for Stand Alone engine management systems in terms of calibration and tuning as well as trouble shooting electronic and mechanical issues. While we have worked with many systems our main focus is the Motec M1 ECU and its many variations. However we also provide services for display and power system programming and integration with Motec and ECUMaster Systems.
The BMW B48 - We have recently begun to focus exclusively on the BMW B48 engine and creating parts and solutions around its use in motorsports. We now offer comprehensive swap packages for the E36 and E46 and are continuing to work on various solutions around the engine.
