B48D / B48TU Factory Style Big Turbo Upgrade

As used on our B46 race cars.

This turbocharger features nearly factory fitment. It has a larger cast exhaust manifold to allow increased flow. 

The turbo core has the same core specs as the Garrett G25-550 or G25-660.  This is a knockoff Garrett core but still uses a ball bearing cartridge and has plumbing to match the stock B48D oil and coolant hoses. The housing is not as efficient as a Garrett turbo to fit in the factory style packaging so power is reduced comparatively. 

• Features a 48/60mm or 54/67mm Compressor Wheel with 0.57 AR Housing
• 49mm Turbine Exducer with 0.64 AR Housing
• Good for 400whp or 465whp in road racing conditions (sustained temperatures). Can make more on the dyno for one cold intake run but who cares. Power is very dependent on fuel.
• 2.75" Inlet requires use of aftermarket intake but allows for greater flow than stock housing.
• Anti-surge inlet housing. 
• Depending on load can make peak torque around 2800rpm.
