B48D / B48TU Turbo Upgrade - 48mm or 54mm Inducer

As used on our B46 race cars and B48 engine packages.

This turbocharger features nearly factory fitment. It has a larger cast exhaust manifold to allow increased flow. 

The turbo core has the same sizing specs as the Garrett G25-550 or G25-660.  This is a knockoff Garrett core but still uses a ball bearing cartridge and has plumbing to match the stock B48D ( 2020-2024 G20 330i and similar) oil and coolant hoses. The housing is not as efficient as a Garrett turbo due to restrictions of fitting it in the factory style packaging so power is reduced comparatively. 

• Features a 48/60mm or 54/67mm Compressor Wheel with 0.57 AR Housing
• 49mm Turbine Exducer with 0.64 AR Housing
• Good for 415whp with 48mm version or 475whp with 54mm version on the dyno or about 10% less in circuit racing conditions (sustained temperatures over many laps).  Power is very dependent on fuel and other engine factors.
• 2.75" Inlet requires use of aftermarket or modified intake but allows for greater flow than stock housing.
• Anti-surge inlet housing. 
• Depending on load can make peak torque around 2800rpm.
