B48 Universal Swap Engine Harness for M1 ECU

As of October 6 this is an early release of this harness. More information and documentation will be added in the next few days. 

This is a full stand alone engine harness to run a BMW B48 engine on a Motec M122 or M142 Direct Injection ECU. It is meant to be universal and can allow a BMW B48 to work in any chassis.

This harness is only guaranteed to work with the BMW B48D / B48TU / B48B20O1. The engine came in the 2019 to 2024 BMW 330i and similar. Further information can be found in our B48 Swap Guide. While the guide is specific to the E46 about 90% of the information is applicable to putting a B48D into anything.  

This harness is independent of the Motec ECU/ Firmware and Tuning/ Calibration. It is designed to work with the Motec M122 ECU. It can also work with an M142 ECU to allow for the addition of port injection or other custom add ons. If purchased for an M142, further wiring will be required. 

While all engineering, testing and tuning is complete for this harness and the M1 ECU on the B48 we are still working on the sales and documentation side of things.  We will continue to add complete system and package information soon.

• Motec M122 or M142 ECU
• Ignition Control Module - Bosch 0227100211 or similar
• Lambda to CAN Module - ECUMaster (must be configured)
• Bosch 4.9 Lambda Sensor - 17025 (short) or 17098 (long)
• Bosch PSTF-1 / 026154401F Oil Pressure and Temp Sensor
• B48 HMM Delete 
• PWM Fan such as Proform 67037
  
• Flex Fuel Sensor - 13507128
• E46 DBW Throttle Pedal - 35426786282
• Valvetronic Lockout
