Clutch Masters FX350 SS Short Shift Clutch Kit – B48 or B58 with GS6-53DZ

Clutch Masters FX350 SS (Short Shift) single-disc clutch kit for BMW B48 applications using the GS6-53DZ 6-speed manual transmission. The SS series puts a billet aluminum cover in an OE-style clutch for faster, more precise shifts.

• Billet aluminum cover, about 10% lighter than the OE stamped steel cover.
• Shorter, faster, more precise shifts.
• Heavier diaphragm for more clamping force.
• Modified pivot point keeps pedal feel only slightly heavier than a stock clutch.
• New throw-out bearing designed for the short throw of the cover.
• FX350 friction: Power Plus Hi-Leverage heavy-duty pressure plate with a segmented Fiber-Tough disc and sprung hub for smooth engagment.
• Suited to a daily-driven street car or a race car that does not need a twin disc. This is the clutch we use on our B48 E46 street car.

Kit components: disc, pressure plate, release bearing, alignment tool, instruction card and decals.
