BMW B46D / B48D / B48TU External Oil Cooler Adapter Plate

Add a real oil cooler to your B48D engine!

This precisely machined part replaces the water to oil heat exchanger on a B48D/ B46D engine. This allows oil to be routed out to a separate oil cooler at the front of the car to help both your water and oil temps. 

The oil line fittings (to and from the external cooler) are M16x1.5mm threaded holes.

As pictured for fittings we are using a banjo style that consists of the following parts:

1. Vibrant 24085 - 8AN Banjo x2
2. BMW M16 Banjo Bolts - 32416852470 x2
3. 16 x 20 x 1.5mm Washers - 07119906463 x4

You can also use M16x1.5mm to AN10 or AN8 adapters (such as the Racetronix ADF-8J1615M) and then a standard 90 degree AN fitting with the hose. 

Fits any vehicle that uses the 11428580414 Oil Filter Housing. Does not include a new gasket as BMW does not sell it independently.
